Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Pinlyy for use of the Pinlyy app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Pinlyy.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pinlyy. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Your content
Your Memories, photos, notes, Trips and keepsakes remain yours. You grant Pinlyy only the licence needed to operate the service for you: to store, process, back up and display your content back to you, and to share it with the people you explicitly choose to share it with. We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you were not permitted to capture.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Pinlyy to break the law or to harass, endanger or impersonate anyone.
- Do not attempt to breach, overload, reverse engineer or disrupt the service.
- Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the service or other people's content.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
Pinlyy Pro subscriptions
Pinlyy is free to use. Pinlyy Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. The specific plans, prices and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings, not in Pinlyy. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are at Apple's discretion and are requested through Apple, not through us.
Content you already own stays viewable, editable, deletable and exportable on the free tier if your subscription ends.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Pinlyy running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Pinlyy at any time and delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service.
Disclaimers and liability
Pinlyy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Pinlyy is a place to keep memories, not a backup service of record: keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pinlyy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
Third parties
Pinlyy uses third-party services, including Apple, Google, Mapbox, RevenueCat, OneSignal, PostHog, Pexels and Cloudflare. Their terms apply to their part of the service. Map data and stock imagery remain the property of their respective providers.
